Little Crazy Quilt
By Cathy Miller

Be charmed by this mix of 14 songs from Cathy Miller, aka The Singing Quilter, in her 5th quilting series CD. The songs range from the catchy “You Might Just Be a Quilter,” where you’re sure to recognize yourself, to the poignant “I Remember You,” which Cathy wrote to be used as background music to a slide show about the Alzheimer’s Art Quilt Initiative. She also includes covers of two songs she didn’t write: a Patti Page recording from the 1950s titled “Little Crazy Quilt” and “The Sewing Machine” from the 1940’s movie “Perils of Pauline.” As this was her 10th solo collection, Cathy also re-recorded two of her earlier pre-quilting songs, “Dance Beneath the Moon,” and “Duncans Cove,” one of my favorites. I liked so many songs it was hard to pick a favorite. Look for the CD in your favorite quilt shop or order from Cathy’s site, www.singingquilter.com.
